Your business has grown.

Marketing needs a clear direction.

I’m Daria Makhno, founder of MD4 and your Fractional Marketing Partner.

You have a business to run. Yet marketing decisions keep landing on your desk.

The agency needs a brief. Sales needs better materials. Someone suggests another channel. Reports arrive, but you still have to work out what matters — and what to do next.

I help established owner-led businesses connect their customers, positioning, channels, people and KPIs into one manageable marketing system.

You gain a clearer view of where opportunities are being lost, which decisions deserve attention and who will take them forward.

I understand the decisions behind the business
My entrepreneurial experience began in 2016, working with customers, sales, suppliers and the daily decisions that keep a company moving.

That experience shapes how I approach marketing. A recommendation has to make sense for your margins, your sales process, your team’s capacity and the resources you can commit.

In 2020, marketing became my main professional focus. My work has included building a digital customer journey for a furniture business and developing a repeatable cross-border sales process for a vintage business.

After the war in Ukraine forced my family to relocate to Sweden, I also experienced what it means to rebuild in an unfamiliar market: understand different expectations, establish trust and decide where to focus limited resources.

My degree in Journalism adds another practical skill: asking precise questions, examining information critically and explaining a complex offer clearly.

Together, these experiences help me see your marketing through both the owner’s decisions and the customer’s buying journey.

What I help you make clearer
Our work starts with the situation your business is facing.

Perhaps enquiries have slowed. Prospects disappear after receiving a quote. Your strongest product keeps being compared on price. Or you have capable specialists, but coordinating them still depends entirely on you.

I examine the available evidence, separate symptoms from possible causes and help you decide:

Which customers and opportunities deserve priority?
What does your offer need to communicate and prove?
Where does the journey from interest to purchase break down?
What should your team improve, pause or stop?
Which measures will help us judge progress?
Those decisions become a practical plan with priorities, responsibilities and a clear review process.

The right level of support for your business

Marketing Diagnostic
For one specific marketing problem.

A focused investigation into a question that is costing your business time, money or opportunities. You receive evidence-based findings, prioritised recommendations and a practical 90-day action plan.

Marketing Foundation
For several connected problems that need a shared direction.

We bring your positioning, priority customers, value proposition, customer journey, channels and KPIs together. Your team gains a strategic foundation and an implementation roadmap.

Diagnostic and Foundation are alternative starting points. Both include analysis; you do not need to purchase both.

Marketing Partnership
For a team that can execute and needs ongoing strategic support.

I work with you and your existing specialists to set priorities, review campaigns and content, interpret performance and keep implementation connected to your business goals.

Fractional CMO
For a business that needs someone to lead and coordinate marketing.

I take on the agreed marketing leadership scope: planning, briefing and coordinating specialists, reviewing quality, overseeing budget priorities and reporting on performance.

You retain control of key business decisions while gaining someone responsible for keeping the marketing work connected. Production, advertising spend and external specialists are scoped separately.

Clear responsibilities. Decisions you can understand.
You should know why a recommendation matters, what evidence supports it and what it will take to implement.

I make those connections explicit. We agree on scope, responsibilities and measures of progress, then review what happens and adjust.

Commercial results depend on your offer, pricing, sales process and implementation as well as marketing. My role is to help you make informed decisions across those connections.

Based in Sweden, I work remotely with businesses worldwide, in English, Swedish, Ukrainian and Russian.
